Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,
Today I’ll be reviewing DP the Unknown’s new EP, Safe Travels! DP blesses us with a new project! Hailing from my city of San Diego she brings a unique sound which is why I gravitate towards her music! Last year she dropped one of my favorite EP’s, “Gone Fishing”. Whether she is out taking a break from reality or traveling elsewhere you can count on her to bring dope music! This EP consists of 10 tracks with a running time of 19 minutes. This EP definitely left me feening for more. You can definitely just put it on replay since it is short, but filled with dope songs!
This EP gave me a mix of Syd and The Internet vibes. More of an experimental EP with unique sounds. My favorite stand out track is, “Spark for Free”! The live instrumentation and the hook is amazingly beautiful! I love that DP is experimenting with her sound and is definitely evolving as an artist! Keep doing your thing girl! Go peep this project and support your local dope artists!!! Go follow @dptheunknown
