Hello Hip Hop Heads and Horror Fans,

Today I will be reviewing the movie, “#Alive”, it is a dope Korean zombie horror flick!!! I didn’t go in with any expectations when I put on this film. The short trailer on Netflix instantly grabbed by attention. I am a fan of foreign horror specially Asian, in this case Korean. I believe they have mastered the art of horror and telling a story that is truly scary! I was not let down with this film! From beginning to end it has you at the edge of your seat. I love that they used technology and how it can help you survive a zombie apocalypse. We are introduced to the man character, Oh Joon-woo, who is a homebody video gamer. You can tell he is addicted to technology.

The action starts right away, we see a “pandemic” spreading that begins turning people into zombies. He is stuck in his apartment complex and forced to survive. He uses a drone and cell to try to see what is going on! He comes to the harsh reality that he might be a lone survivor and his family is dead! It is very deep to, talks about depression in this type of new reality! Then there is a light of the tunnel when he finds another survivor Kim Yoo-bin across the way from his complex! I won’t spoil the movie, go watch it definitely worth it!

Thank you for reading my movie review. Hope you all enjoyed it! Until next time horror fiends and hip hop heads! While you’re at it follow my blog on social media @7octoberz on Instagram and Facebook! Also follow me on YouTube and IGtv to watch my podcast Nightmare on Sedgwick Avenue.
