Hello Hip Hop Heads, R&B lovers and Horror Fans,

Today I will be reviewing Malia’s latest album, “Unpolished”. I first came across Malia’s music at a Syd concert back in December 2017, she opened up for Syd and I was blown away by her voice, soothing feel good music and killer performance! Honestly Malia is one of the best openers I have seen hands down, and I been to many concerts! She is definitely a star who can headline her own show! I instantly became a supporter of her music that night.

She is very talented and gifted singer. I saw via social media she had dropped a new album and I had to check it out. I was not surprised that from start to finish this album is amazing! She has this angelic voice mixed with mellow feel good vibes that instantly pulls you into each track. The intro track, “Part Time Girl” is beautiful and sets the tone for the rest of the project! I loved all the tracks, but my favorites have to be, Part Time Girl, Coast 2 Coast, Closer, Lucid Dream and Misfit. It is a great project filled with great heartfelt songwriting, dope acoustic R&B/Neo Soul vibes and Malia’s voice is just incredible! Do yourself a favor and check out this project!

Thank you for reading my album review. Hope you all enjoyed it! Until next time horror fiends, R&B lovers and hip hop heads! While you’re at it follow my blog on social media @7octoberz on Instagram and Facebook! Also follow me on YouTube and IGtv to watch my podcast Nightmare on Sedgwick Avenue.
